Chemical Peels - Professional Resurfacing Treatments

Picture

Because all skins vary in current skin condition, pigmentation, sensitivity, and treatment/medical history, professional resurfacing treatments are chosen after consultation at the beginning of the session to ensure the proper peeling agent is used for your skin on the day of the treatment.  When you come in for your appointment, your skin will be cleansed and carefully assessed prior to each peel application, and the appropriate peel will be chosen and discussed with you.

Skin Spa proudly uses Lira Clinical peels.  All Lira Clinical peel solutions are blended with plant-derived stem cell technology, multiple peptide chains, potent antioxidants and healing minerals.

Lira's clinical peels are designed to stimulate exfoliation of epidermal skin cells and promote healthy collagen and elastin production. The end result is softer, smoother, clearer, brighter, younger looking skin with a reduction in pigmentation, acne and fine lines.  Lira's clinical peels are paraben free and combine the best of science and nature to deliver skin rejuvenation at a cellular level.

Because of my advanced training with professional resurfacing treatments, I am able to select and blend peels to safely achieve maximum results.  Here is some of my favorite peels:

VitaBrite Refresh
A mild peel/enzyme mix with mandolin acid, natural skin lighteners, skin brighteners, and plant stem cells.  VitaBrite contains Lira's exclusive ingredient, mastiha, which is anti-inflammatory, healing, calming, and lightening.  Safe for all skin types and safe for use during pregnancy.

Pumpkin Plus Defining Peel
A mild peel with a 35% blend of glycolic/lactic acid, retinol, pumpkin and mango enzymes. This peel will leave your skin feeling refreshed with a healthy glow, and helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.  Unlike traditional glycol peels, this peel feels and smells beautiful.  Safe for all skin types and safe for use during pregnancy.

Lactic Peel
This peel contains 50% Lactic acid and is blended with organic melanin suppressant, hyaluronic acid, green tea and echinacea, this is the peel of choice for pigmented, sun-damaged and dehydrated skin. Infused with antioxidants, skin will look and feel refreshed.  Very effective for hormonally imbalanced skin.

Sal Pulp Peel
Powered by 20% Salicylic Acid this is the peel of choice for acne skin types. Salicylic acid has been used for over 50 years in preparations for skin rejuvenation and treating all types of acne.   The Sal Pulp Peel immediately reduces acne inflammation.

Beta Plus Rebuilder
A 20% salicylic peel.  Excellent for treating non-inflammed acne and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Jessner Peel
A stronger peel that treats a variety of skin conditions including acne, sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, melasma, and enlarged pores. This is a traditional Jessner with a blend of 14% resorcinol, 14% salicylic acid and 14% lactic acid.   The Lira Jessner peel is also infused with colloidal silver and gold to acheive maximum healing benefits.

TCA
A powerful blend of TCA, salicylic, and phenol.  This peel is sealed with 4% retinol and causes heavy skin shedding.  The TCA peel is excellent for deep lines and wrinkles, advanced sun damage and pigmentation, and scar reduction.

Contraindications for chemical peels  active cold sores or warts, skin with open wounds, sunburn, excessively sensitive skin, dermatitis or inflammatory rosacea, autoimmune disease, use of accutane within the past year, skin cancer, pregnancy.

A series of peels is recommended to obtain optimal results.

What Our Clients Are Saying

"It's hard to even put into words the experience I recently had with Kimberlee.  Two years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had bilateral mastectomy.  By her amazing talent and work, I can feel whole again.  She tattooed 3D areola and nipples on me and she did a beautiful job.  She is kind, compassionate, and caring.  She several times cried with me and I know she felt just as much joy as I did when she was done.  I felt very calm in her office and I was able to relax and feel peace.  I would highly recommend her to anyone."
